Nick Hill - Southport Based Photographer
Welcome to my Blogspot. I am a Southport based photographer. I mainly take pictures of Flowers, Wildlife and Macro work but I do have a wide range of photos on my main website www.digitalreflex.co.uk/galleries.
I converted to digital about five years ago after having used an SLR film camera for years. Photo taking is now so much easier, cheaper and better than in the bad old days. I have two digital cameras, an Olympus E-500 and a Canon EOS 350D. The Olympus was my original and is a little bit worn out now but is good for certain types of shots, but the main camera now is the Canon. I am looking at getting one of the new range of all singing and dancing compact digitals in the near future, it has a super macro feature and will focus as close as 1centimetre, that will be good for my macro work.
